Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Smart Contract Engineer with strong DeFi experience to join our team and help build core protocol infrastructure. This role focuses on DeFi protocol design and smart contract development. Candidates with backend development experience or AI / LLM system experience who can contribute to AI-native architecture design will be a strong plus.

Responsibilities DeFi Protocol Development

  • Design and implement core DeFi protocol smart contracts
  • Participate in protocol architecture design and optimization
  • Optimize gas efficiency, execution performance, and system security
  • Design and implement risk control mechanisms
  • Integrate smart contracts with frontend and backend systems
  • Participate in smart contract security reviews and audit processes

Requirements

Technical Requirements： Smart Contract / DeFi

  • Strong experience with Solidity / EVM development
  • Proficient with development tools such as
    • Foundry
    • Hardhat
  • Experience building or contributing to DeFi protocols, such as:
    • AMM / DEX
    • Lending protocols
    • Vault / yield strategies
    • Perpetuals / derivatives Understanding of key DeFi mechanisms:
  • AMM pricing models
  • Lending interest rate models
  • Liquidation mechanics
  • LP fee distribution
  • Vault strategies

DeFi Security & System Knowledge Understanding of common DeFi risks such as:

  • Oracle manipulation
  • MEV
  • Flash loan attacks
  • Liquidity risks
  • Liquidation mechanisms

Vibe Coding (Important) We expect engineers to actively leverage AI coding tools and build efficient development workflows. Examples include:

  • Claude Code
  • Codex
  • OpenCode / Cursor You should be able to:
  • Build efficient AI-assisted development workflows
  • Improve development productivity using AI
  • Maintain code quality, system security, and maintainability

Backend / AI (Nice to Have) Bonus if you have experience in:

  • Backend development (Python / Go / Node.js)
  • Working with LLM APIs or AI Agent systems
  • Designing AI-native backend architectures For example:
  • Supporting LLM inference, tool use, or agent collaboration
  • Building AI agent orchestration workflows

Bonus Points

  • Experience contributing to production DeFi protocols
  • Familiarity with protocols like Uniswap, Aave, Maker, Curve
  • Experience in smart contract security auditing
  • Experience designing protocol architectures
